Vic: Street singers knock treatment by homeless choir
Homeless members of the award-winning Choir of Hard Knocks have engaged a lawyer ..
claiming its huge commercial success hasn't flowed to them.
Lawyer DAVID BRETT .. who's representing some members .. says it's only fair that they
all share in the collective success of the choir .. which was the subject of an ABC documentary
and has recorded two CDs and performed sell-out concerts.
Mr BRETT says choir members have been left bitterly disappointed.
He says while they're not necessarily seeking cash handouts .. they believe they should
participate equally in the benefits through programs like dental or medical care .. or
clothing benefits.
