Sypris Expands Test Services Offering To Include RF, Microwave Testing.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Sypris Test & Measurement, a subsidiary of Sypris Solutions, Inc., today announced it has added RF and microwave testing capabilities to its wide range of product and component testing services.

Sypris will offer RF test services that include component qualification, parts management across the supply chain, life testing, characterization, and burn-in/environmental testing to meet military requirements. Current RF tests will include: power at 1dB compression point, input power, output power, saturated output power, gain at 1dB compression point, linear gain, 3rd intercept point, maximum stable gain, and maximum available gain. Additionally, testing will include insertion loss, return loss, voltage standing wave ratio, S-parameters, small signal gain tests, etc. Sypris will also test gate leakage current, gate leakage current under RF conditions, saturated drain current, transconductance, drain current under RF stimulus, etc. Test ranges cover up to 26 GHz. Sypris will test RF devices that include: bipolar transistors, Hetrojunction bipolar transistors, GaAs devices and FETS, MMIC's, SPDT switches and prescalers.
