Fed: Australian monarchists praise Queen's sense of duty

The Queen's most ardent Australian admirer says it's a sense of duty which is driving
Britain's oldest-ever monarch. .

81 year-old Queen ELIZABETH the Second has reached a new milestone overnight to pass
the mark set by her great-great-grandmother Queen VICTORIA.

VICTORIA was born on May 24 .. 1819 .. and lived for 81 years and 243 days.

Calculating longevity down to the hour Buckingham Palace says ELIZABETH moved past
her predecessor late yesterday.

Professor DAVID FLINT .. from the national convenor of Australians for Constitutional
Monarchy .. says ELIZABETH's service to the nation has been impeccable.

He's told the UK's Sunday Times it's only now people are beginning to recognise the
Queen's devotion to service.
