CSC's Exceed Software Earns Industry's Highest Customer Rating for Insurance Billing Offering.

Tech Decisions, Novarica Present RAVE Award to CSC Based on Average Customer Experience Survey

FALLS CHURCH, Va. -- CSC (NYSE: CSC) today announced it received a RAVE Award from Tech Decisions and Novarica for its Exceed Billing insurance software, which achieved an overall rating of 98 out of a possible 100 in a Novarica Average Customer Experience (ACE) ranking. This is the highest rating a billing solution has received to date from its customers in the ACE Ranking program, which compiles user evaluations of vendor software offerings.

The overall average ratings for Exceed Billing in each of the criteria were 100 for staff, 97 for organization, 96 for functionality, 99 for technology and 99 for customer satisfaction. In addition, 100 percent of survey participants said they "would highly recommend this vendor solution to a peer." Customer comments accompanying the ratings include, "CSC's Exceed Billing functionality significantly enhances productivity and delivers the promised functionality," and "CSC uses technology that fits carriers' long-term strategies and can easily be supported by current staff."

Exceed Billing processes all bill types and lines of business and can interface with any policy administration solution regardless of platform. A carrier's representatives, agents and customers can enter, review and edit billing information in real time through a standard Internet browser. Customer service representatives have immediate access to data and call center scripting with intelligent screens that reduce entry time and errors. Built upon an open, service-oriented architecture, Exceed Billing includes Web-based configuration capabilities that allow authorized users to add new pay plans, expire and replace plans and add new data fields without IT involvement.

"We congratulate CSC on this recognition from its customers," said Matthew Josefowicz, partner and managing director of Novarica, and director of the ACE Rankings Program. "An acknowledged market leader in insurance software, CSC received top-tier scores for this offering and related services."

"We are honored to receive such a high rating from our clients," said Jeffery Schwalk, president of CSC's Property and Casualty Insurance Division. "Exceed Billing provides a function-rich, configurable and scalable solution that allows insurers to extend their legacy systems and introduce new billing plans quickly and cost-effectively."
